Band Of Sisters - Our belly dance performance group

Thanks to the great leadership of inspiring dance teacher and performance artist, Janet Rose, we have developed our performance group of folk belly dancers into a blossoming and growing group of confident performers. In 2023, thanks to support from funders, we were able to establish our group of dancers and to really develop in technique, flow and performance skills. Everyone has grown in confidence and skills and it’s a pleasure to see such life-changing wellbeing changes and transitions taking place for the women coming to join our dance troupe.

We are looking forward to performing at events in and around Nottingham in the new year. First of all, we’re kicking off with Nottingham Light Night 2024! This will be a fantastic opportunity to begin the new year with a showcase of just how much we have developed and learnt together.
