‘Gathering Together’ - supported by The National Lottery community Fund

In December 2022, we were very proud to be awarded a grant from The National Lottery Community Fund to continue our work with women and their families in Nottingham. Due to our new website being created, we were unable to announce the award on our website.

Since being awarded this amount, we’ve been able to launch our project with a celebration event at New Art Exchange in Nottingham. Over 200 women attended the day-time event, and all enjoyed a live music showcase, a series of creative and cultural workshops, and social time for connecting and catching-up. This event was a huge success and feedback was outstanding.

The project is also featuring workshops in various around the city, to ensure we reach different areas of Nottingham city. All women are invited to take part in free-to-attend singing, music-making, drama-based, dance, arts and crafts, and socialising workshops.
