Folk Belly Dance in Nottingham

Community Dance Artist and Performer, Janet Rose, has been sharing her special dance style of Folkloric Belly Dance with budding dancers in Nottingham, particularly focusing on genres of dance from Morocco and Algeria. Janet has studied extensively with Moroccan Dance Specialist, Nawarra, and takes great pride in instilling her passion for dances from North Africa into all her students.

Janet is currently leading weekly Folk Belly Dance workshops at CommuniTree at Clarendon Chambers and is planning a year of exciting performances, with the first one being Nottingham Light Night 2024!
